Purpose of Position: To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment.
Requirements:
- Certificate: Phlebotomy techniques
- First Aid (Level 1)
- Grade 12
- HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field
Required Experience:
- Experience in pathology laboratory environment
- Knowledge: Google and Google Mail
- Knowledge: HPCSA regulations
- Knowledge: Meditech system
- Knowledge: MS Excel
- Knowledge: National Health Act
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered
- Perform phlebotomy procedures to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services
- Perform phlebotomy-related administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information
- Provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment
